About the event
The 26th World Scout Jamboree will bring youth from around the glove together for a life changing journey of leadership and peace. This once in a lifetime adventure is only open to scouts ages 14-17. Activities will focus on adventure, cultural exchange and personal growth. The host city is Gdansk Poland, whose over 1000 years of history will be on display as scouts tour historic Poland prior to the jamboree with the American contingent. The first Jamboree took place in 1920 in London. Approximately 170 countires will send scouts to the Jamboree, with an expected attendance of 50,000 swcouts and volunteers.
