Welcome to Troop 1
Building Future Leaders for over 100 Years
Troop 1 is a scout led Scouting America Troop based in Mill Valley, California, that emphasizes youth leadership, outdoor education, and public service. We practice the patrol-method, with older more experienced scouts teaching and leading younger scouts along the path to Eagle, with the mentorship of seasoned and trained adult leaders. We are proud of our heritage and have supported over 200 scouts to the rank of Eagle since our founding in 1910. We participate in local, national, and international scouting activities, and have sent crews to every high adventure base in scouting. We would love to have you visit one of our meetings.
Troop 1 meets at Scout Hall in Mill Valley, California, on Thursday evenings.
Our girls troop, T1G, meets 6pm-7:30 pm
Our boys troop, T1B, meets 7:30pm-9pm
